Soul Children

What Is It?

Starting in Oslo, Norway with children and teenagers, Soul Children sings originally written and arranged music that has elements from pop, rock, soul, R’n’B and gospel.

The choir was started by Ragnhild Hiis Ånestad in 2001 and is now in Germany, England, Sweden, Denmark, Ecuador, Netherlands and now Scotland!

Soul Children UK is a growing network of youth gospel choirs all practicing 3 pillars: Musical, Social, and Spiritual.

Who Can Get Involved?

Soul Children Dundee is truly a community-based choir open to pupils of all ages.
With 8 local schools and 7 nationalities represented at Christmas, Soul Children encourages a safe environment, the creation of strong relationships, and practices inspiring music, while giving each child confidence and skills in music.
Please spread the word and take the time to invite any child you know loves to sing!

We Are Family!

As part of the worldwide Soul Children family, we will join other choirs on Saturday, 24 June, for a UK-wide Soul Children Festival UK in Manchester (put the date in your diary).
